REFUNDS

Please choose your purchases carefully and retain your Tax Invoice as proof of purchase.

Always inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if any item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving delivery of your order to contact us with any issues.

Refunds are generally given only in the case of damage or defect.

Refunds are generally not given for freight and handling charges.

If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. 

Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

CHANGE OF MIND

As we deal in perishable food items, we generally do not give refunds or exchange goods when you change your mind or choose incorrect goods.

If we exercise our discretion to accept a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened and unused, in its original packaging.

RETURNS

If we agree to accept a return of your order, or items in your order, goods must be returned to us at Hindustan Imports, 50 Greens Road, Dandenong South VIC 3175. 

A 20% restocking fee may apply at our discretion.

REFERRAL TO MANUFACTURER OR AGENT

In some circumstances, we may also:

  • Return the product to the manufacturer or their agent to investigate and determine the nature of any problems; or

  • Refer you to the manufacturer or their agent for assistance or refund / exchange authorisation.

Almost all products contain local manufacturers’ names, addresses, and telephone numbers on the packing.

Should any manufacturer’s information not be available, we shall happily provide it to you upon your request.

This Policy does not limit your statutory rights as a consumer.
